AI26 connects established businesses with AI research labs interested in licensing real-world operating data. We help businesses explore whether an approved package of historical records could be a fit for a licensing opportunity.
Historical depth, quality, volume, and connected context all matter. Records that show how work progresses across conversations, documents, decisions, and outcomes can be especially useful. Value also depends on buyer requirements and your rights to license the material.
We prioritize active businesses with at least 50 employees and five years of operations. Strong candidates have meaningful historical records, repeatable workflows, and the authority to license the data included. Meeting these criteria does not guarantee buyer approval.
Business communications may be eligible when the required rights and permissions are in place. Personal conversations and employee-owned accounts are not automatically eligible. The scope must be reviewed alongside related files and any restrictions.
Before data is shared with a third-party AI lab, we remove personally identifiable information and replace names and commercially sensitive figures with non-identifying alternatives. We do not ask you to share bank statements, account details, or other sensitive financial information. Data is handled under confidentiality and security safeguards, and only the redacted package is shared with the lab. Client-owned or otherwise restricted material still requires the appropriate permissions; anything that cannot be licensed is excluded.
The intended buyers are AI research labs seeking enterprise data for training or evaluation. The buyer, permitted uses, and other conditions should be specified in the licensing agreement before you proceed.
There is no fixed payout. Potential value depends on the quality and scope of an eligible package, buyer demand, and agreed terms. Any payment is subject to buyer approval and a completed licensing agreement.
The opportunity described here is a one-time license of an approved historical data package. Payment terms, delivery requirements, and the scope of the license are agreed for each transaction.
An internal owner should be able to coordinate the initial assessment, identify relevant systems and records, and help review rights and exclusions. The effort required depends on your data and the proposed package.
